FAQs More Information

Q. Why would I need a visual map?

A.
Studies have shown that two thirds of people prefer learning and understanding visual sources to text sources - visual sources are more effective.

Maps provide an easily accessible global view of business systems and processes. Maps show at a glance how systems and processes interact and where the critical system points are. Maps enable you to easily identify connections that are not necessarily visible in a text, and to quickly get to grips with the abstract parts of your enterprise.

Q. How much does it cost?

A.
Our prices range from thousands to hundreds of thousands depending on the size and complexity of the project we will be pleased to give you a free quotation with no obligation.

Q. Are templates available so I can create my own map?

A.
We can create templates to order and will be happy to provide a free quotation.

Q. Do you offer a service to update the map?

A.
Yes, we provide ISO 9001 certified processes for review and updating our maps. Many organisations want to have their maps updated because their resources change over time and because our continued involvement gives them an independent gatekeeper of their overall systems review process.

Q. What size is the map?

A.
Maps can be printed in any size restricted only by the size of the media or the size of your wall! We normally produce standard ISO and Architectural sizes.

Q. What services do Fintecs offer for generating maps?

A. The finished map represents only part of the value which our consultancy services add to an organisation. Our analysis service, from which maps are generated, provides vital understanding for clients of their own systems and business processes and how they interact.

Q. Can the maps be updated easily?

A.
We provide a service to update maps on a regular basis and we can also provide maps in electronic form that clients can update themselves, or that can be driven by data.

Q. Why are maps better than text?

A.
Because Maps provide an easily accessible global view of business systems and processes that shows at a glance how they interact and where the critical system points are located.
